A Record of Shelford Parva

A Record of Shelford Parva was written and illustrated by village grandee Fanny Wale in the early 20th century. It was the first dedicated history book of Little Shelford.
The book includes colour and black and white paintings, drawings and photos of Little Shelford in the 19th and early 20th century.
The book was first published in 2013 in a limited facsimile edition by David Martin with the aid of Lottery Funds. It is now republished in a new edition by Galileo and will be featured in a two month long exhibition in Stapleford Granary beginning June 26th 2025.
