Domenico Ghirlandaio, The Nativity, late 15th century
This richly coloured nativity scene from the Italian Florentine School has plenty of little details to make completing this puzzle a fun and satisfying experience. Ghirlandaio (1448-1494) was best known for his frescos of religious scenes. His studio offered work to many artists, including a young Michelangelo.
